Mermaid

So, its come, the day my cousin leaves our shitty town to university where the better people go and learn things.

I'm proud of her and I love her dearly.
She asked me to make her a painting as a going away present. She requested: A mermaid in yucky water.

Now...I honestly think i hate mermaids JUST because when drawing them, the bottom half is important to show because..well..if you don't how can you tell she has a fish bottom?
That was my problem..i dislike drawing bottom halves and what not..
It was a struggle..it really was.

BUT
I love LOVE her hands.
Just love them.

Right now this is with my cousin.
Shes leaving Saturday but today is the last time i will see her until thanksgiving.
